East Pattern is much more than an injection molder; most of our products are insert molded, we fabricate our own tooling, provide value-added assembly, and can assist you with design, prototype and product development.

Our molding capabilities include:

• RIM (Reaction Injection Molding of two part rigid polyurethane foam, thermosets and elastomers)

• RIM dimensional stability outperforms injection molding and thermoforming on large parts with varied wall thickness such as enclosures.
• RIM tooling cost substantially less than injection molding, so large products with low volume can launch faster and less expensive.
• RIM is the preferred process for high temperature resistance and insulation applications
• RIM is the preferred process for a range of foams used in seating for motorcycles, ATV, snowmobiles, PWC, tractors and almost all other outdoor toys.

• Thermoplastic Injection Molding

• From small medical components to large HVAC plenums – we not only process engineering grade thermoplastic materials in our range of presses from 25 ton to 500 ton, but we also design, build and maintain your molds on site.

• Insert Molding (both RIM and injection molding)

• Molding over threaded bushings on multiple axes, optical lenses, helical augers and ball bearings, are a few examples of complex insert molding applications that have saved our customers time and money.

We have manufactured components for micro medical devices, blood testing equipment, biofuel reactors, oil and gas radiological non-destructive test equipment, consumer products, under-the-hood components, cosmetic body panels and most everything in between.
